The board contains CD74HC4067 chip - 16-channel multiplexer/demultiplexer. It can be used to connect up to 16 digital or analog devices like sensors to microcontroller utilizing only 5 MCU pins (4 digital and 1 analog-to-digital conversion pin).
You can also use it reversely - as a demultiplexer, directing single serial stream to one of 16 outputs
This device works with analog or digital signals (like serial, I2C or SPI)
In ON state, the (de)multiplexer has 70 Ohm resistance at 4.5V supply voltage and 60 Ohms at 6V.
