Easy prototyping with ESP32
If you are considering creating a prototype based on ESP32S or ESP-WROOM-32 you have to deal with the fact that this module has 38 pins in a 1.27 mm raster. We do not say that soldering cables to it is impossible, but it seems to be at least impractical. A much better idea is to place the module on the adapter board, which outputs all connectors into two rows of double goldpins in 2.54 raster.
Such a soldered adapter can not be attached to the breadboard, but at least it can be connected to it female-female cables and female-male.
The adapter requires soldering.
